Karasuma Kyoto Hotel

The double room for single use, I had on the last night, was much more comfortable as compared to the small single room I had at the beginning of my stay, although the bathroom was still small in space, but equipped with everything needed, The breakfast is very good, with a large variety of selections, both in local and international cuisine, also cooked. The location is excellent , since the most interesting places are at walk distance or achievable by subway. The asian restaurant on second floor is excellent. The staff is very gentle

The position of this hotel was within metres of Sijo subway station, lift exit 4a. Staff were excellent and breakfast was varied and more than ample. The room was far greater in size compared to those in Tokyo. For those who unsure of restaurant dinning there's a great choice from the basement of a department store located 10 minute walk along the underground walkway. This is the second time that we have stayed here and would certainly look for availability on our next trip

Location is fantastic. Right above station, with a lift like one block away. Very convenient for family like us with pram and luggages. Convenient store is just around the corner. Starbucks is right at the hotel lobby.

A convenient and bustling location, easily recognizable with a Starbucks right next door. The staff were so kind and even went to the extent of helping to call ahead to the next hotel to ensure that my luggage - sent using the luggage TAQ-Bin courier - will be expected and taken care of.

the staff is very polite and breakfast is both local and western. the location of the hotel is very good and walking distance from local market, old town and other monuments.
